Void sent progress

Hi all! I’ve have been hard at work on the draft and am now at 84%! Due to my day job I haven’t had the same amount of free time I would normally have to write but that hasn’t stopped me from trying to finish this draft around late August to early September. I’m very happy with the current of this draft and am excited to be finally writing some scenes that I’ve had in my head for so long. I swear I’m not going anywhere but I probably will be quiet until I finish the book and transition into my short break before revisions. Thank you all for your interest and I hope to be back soon with good news :D. Hi again! I have been hard at work on Void Sent finishing chapter 29 last week and growing the manuscript to 80K work and over 250 pages. I am estimating the book in its entirety to come out to around 95-105K words and about 300 pages give or take. The closer I get to the final chapters the more unreal it feels. I am painfully aware of certain issues when it comes to certain plot devices earlier in the story and have already been coming up with fixes for them. This pushes the progress bar to 74% and just ever so slightly closer to the end. I still plan on trying to go through the traditional publishing route although that is still pretty far down the timeline. I have thought of alternative ways of sharing my work once I am finished with it (mostly just the thought of posting it on its own dedicated page here or somewhere else.) If you have any ideas or suggestions or just want to say hi then feel free to contact me!

Hey everybody, I just finished chapter 28! That means we’re are in the final stages of the planned story. You may notice that as I say that the progress bar has barely moved a percent, that is because I made a mistake with my math. My B. Going forward I expect to speed through this final portion of the book. I have saved what I think is the best for last and am really excited to get into some of these upcoming scenes. I am planning to take a month or two away from the book once I finish it so I can distance myself before starting the editing and revision process but I will update you all about that once we get there. This is the update page for my current work in progress book, Void Sent. As some background, I have been working on this story since December of 2024 and finished outlining in August of 2025. I am hoping that by the end of 2026 or early 2027 I should have a presentable manuscript to submit for publishing!
What is void sent?
Void Sent is a grimdark high fantasy story set in the Kingdom of Solaris in its capitol city, Kaven. We follow two protagonists, Voe and Niran, whose stories come together at the center of a multi-generational conspiracy that transcends the mortal plane.
